Introduction

Welcome to our club in the heart of Somerset, in the seaside Town of Weston-super-Mare.  We are a mixed bowling club, the Bowling Club is in the middle of a built-up area on a secure site with its own car park which holds up to 40 cars and has space for a coach to park.  We also have full access for disabled bowlers.  We have a membership of between 60 to 70 men and approximately 40 ladies.  Both outdoor clubs enjoy a full summer programme with friendly matches, League matches and Cup competitions.  Each season we welcome tourists teams from various parts of the Uk.  We also welcome non-playing members, who enjoy the benefit of our full and varied social programme. 

The club has its own English Bowls Coach Mr David Nutt, he is willing at any time to give you advice and coaching if you need it. David helps all the new bowlers with their delivery and teaches the rules and contents of the game of bowls. Contact David on Tel:01934-514906

We have a great clubhouse and have a lot of social events over the season.

The club has facilities for disabled bowlers, members from the William Knowles centre regularly use our facilities and to date have won 36 medals in the Special Olympics.  Since 2004, the club has hosted the John Morse Open Wheelchair Pairs Tournament. An outdoor event which has been an enormous success, the number of entries has increased every year, entry is open to anyone who is wheelchaired-bound, partnered by any player of their choosing.    

THE BLIND BOWLERS

Every week during the outdoor season, the Blind and Partially Sighted bowlers of  the Weston  area can be found enjoying our facilities, their ability never fails to draw appreciation and admiration from all who watch and help them.

After every friendly or competitive match we always meet at the 22nd end in the clubhouse for a drink and a chat.

Come and spend a day with us at Weston-super-Mare by the sea, the ladies will enjoy the shops, and the men can have a donkey ride on the beach.
